I'm a Mac diehard, but I'm abandoning their flagship 'ware as I set up the new computer. Safari, Mail and iTunes haven't been launched once on this machine.
In my search for a media player without the bloat and the ties to the DRM Crime Syndicate, I came across the most amazing idiocy in forums. My favourite was the fishie who "just wanted something to copy music to [my] iPod", and "that's the purpose of iTunes".
Do these helpless little whelps really need overfeatured software to move music files to their Magic Music-Playing Machine?? Drag and drop, bitches.
